Acura RL

Performance:
The RL is the consummate achiever, thanks to its robust 290-hp V6 VTEC engine, Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), and an automatic Sequential SportShift transmission with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. A technologically advanced 3.5 liter V6 engine powers the RL, producing 290 horsepower and 256-lbs-ft. of peak torque. It begins with Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC), which adjusts valve timing and lift according to rpm, facilitating immediate response. Twenty-four valves motivate flow on both intake and exhaust sides, and PGM-FI Programmed Fuel Injection ensures precise, efficient fuel use. The racing-inspired Drive-by-Wire Throttle System provides a smoother and more precise accelerator connection, and the all-aluminum alloy construction keeps the engine lightweight and rigid.

Luxury & Convenience: The RL offers indulgences that warm and comfort you, like two-level heated front seats, dual-zone, dual-mode automatic climate controls, as well as Voice Recognition and the HandsFreeLink systems. Thoughtful storage space abounds in the RL. Its trunk is deep and spacious, and to accommodate longer cargo like skis, golf clubs and the like, it features a trunk pass-through within the rear passenger seat. An abundance of interior storage provides easy access to daily items, such as a cell phone and CDs, and ample beverage holders are located throughout the cabin- two up front and two in the rear seat's center fold-down armrest.
Audio & Communication: The RL's wide-reaching technologies are sure to please even the most uncompromising purist with the Acura/Bose Premium 10 Speaker Surround-Sound System, the Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition, and the AcuraLink Satellite Communication System with Real-Time Traffic.
Safety & Security: Acura is legendary for employing the latest safety innovations, such as Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Active Front Lighting System (AFS) and Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA). For your convenience and security, the RL is fitted with a keyless access system. The remote unlocks the driver's door with one press and a second will unlock all the other doors. The remote also features a panic button, which activates the car's horn and lights. In the event someone attempts to break into your RL, an alarm system will sound the horn and flash the headlights, as well as disable the ingition. The HomeLink system is built into the overhead console and can replace up to three remote-controlled devices, including a garage door opener, home security system or remote lighting system.
