A world-class driver's SUV naturally requires a powerful, sophisticated engine. The MDX delivers with a 3.7-liter VTEC V6, dishing up 300 horsepower and 275 lbs.-ft. of torque. Acura's largest engine is also the most powerful 6-cylinder SUV in its class, rivaling many V8 engines. The MDX not only benefits from significant weight reduction measures, it gained additional power from a high-flow exhaust system, increased displacement, as well as enhancements to the induction system. The third-row seats offer ample headroom and are easily accessible from the passenger-side rear door. The advanced technology of the MDX is abundantly evident in its two audio systems.
